Coming to CCIP, it is brand new level of advanced level of examinations. CCIP relates to the subject matter of Communications and Services. To obtain CCIP candidates must know IP routing , IP multicast, DSL, cable operations including content writing etc. Those candidates are readily accepted to make an attempt at these examinations who are adept at performing Cisco networking operations.
Along with the main subject that includes basic concepts the candidates can choose to opt for telecommunications technology as well if they are to be tested. In order to make an attempt at CCIP, candidates need an active CCNA certification. CCIP credentials enable candidates working in service provider organizations to build skills in solving IP networking problems. Apart from having a great deal of experience in IP routing, CCIP candidates also have professional knowledge about BGP, IP QoS, MPLS etc. These examinations are not made void until after three years.

- 642-892 Composite Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)
- 642-642 Implementing Cisco Quality of Service (QoS)
- 642-691 Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers/Implementing Cisco MPLS (BGP+MPLS)

- 642-642 Implementing Cisco Quality of Service (QoS)
- 642-661 Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers (BGP)
- 642-611 Implementing Cisco MPLS (MPLS)

In case this certification is rendered invalid, you can take any exam mentioned above and/or take CCDE or CCIE written exam. It is imperative to pass them.
