Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification

The CCNP is also one of the advanced level studies under the affiliation of Cisco. Its credentials involves Network Installation and Support track i.e. Routing and Switching). For upto 500 node, CCNP certification enables its holders to set up, run, troubleshoot, organize WAN, LAN, and inaccessible-admission services for organizations. CCNP helps building strong foundations of gaining experience in an astronomical number of networking protocols, technologies and services, including IP, EIGRP, entr?e lists, route redistribution, RIP, route summarization, OSPF, VLSM, BGP, consecutive protocols, frame convey, HDLC, DDR, PSTN, PPP, VLANs, Ethernet, access lists, 802.10, and apparent and translational connection.

Exams that need to be taken are as follows:

Three Exam Track for CCNP:

• 642-892 compound exam for Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)/Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)
• 642-825 Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks (ISCW)
• 642-845 Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks (ONT)

And/or
Four Exam Track for CCNP:

• 642-901 Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)
• 642-812 Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)
• 642-825 Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks (ISCW)
• 642-845 Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks (ONT)

Again these examinations are held void after a time of three periods and these can be made valid after taking and passing CCIE or CCDE exams.
